I stayed there for the Solvang century back on March 12.
Big green grassy field. Plan on it being wet though.
It's actually $40, not $20, as you have to take 2 days minimum
even though you are there for one day. It gets windy, so really
stake down your tent. It is easy to get to from 101, and it is
a cake 3 mile slight uphill bike ride to Solvang for the start.
I recommend it. Other places are motel 6 in Goleta at $65, and
Rose and Garden off of Los Osos Valley Road in SLO for $35.

Flying Flags RV Park and Campground in Buelton; 805-688-3716. Has jacuzzis, pool, and other good facilities. About a 3 mile ride to the start.

Is anyone staying there? Is it possible to share a site? I really love to camp, but commited myself to this ride at the last minute. Please let me know.
